The filing period for promotional examinations Court Clerk 55-810 and Senior Court Clerk 55-811 begins Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and ends Thursday, March 14, 2019.
The examinations will be administered statewide on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Please read the examination announcement carefully, including the minimum qualifications to compete, before submitting an application. The examination application will be accepted only from qualified employees of the New York State Unified Court System.
An application is considered filed only upon receipt of an Application ID Number which you receive immediately after clicking "Submit" at the end of the electronic application. If you do not receive an Application ID Number after clicking "Submit," your application was not filed.
Admission Notices will be e-mailed to applicants on or about April 24, 2019 only if they received an Application ID Number after submitting their electronic application. Please add UnifiedCourtSystemExam@nycourts.gov to your address book to ensure receipt of all e-mail correspondence. NOTE: It is your responsibility to check your e-mail for the Admission Notice and related correspondence and provide timely notice of any change to your e-mail information.
