COVID-19 Vaccinations

President's Message
January 12, 2021

As you may be aware, Court Officers and sworn Peace Officers are now included in Phase 1B and are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine which begins today January 11, 2021.

We have posed the question, what about the rest of the non-judicial titles we represent. We were informed that OCA is waiting for clarification from the Executive Branch on where they will be phased in. As soon as we have an answer for those members, we will get that to you immediately.

Appointments are required to receive the vaccine.

At present, there are multiple avenues to schedule a vaccine. Below is a list of links where you can sign up.

Please keep in mind this is not an exhaustive list –

Nassau County Dept. of Health

NY City Dept. of Health

Northwell Health Vaccination Initiative

Northwell/Urgent Care Vaccination Centers

Please be patient as the demand has overwhelmed the system. We encourage you to check these sites regularly for new appointments as necessary.

Prior to receiving the vaccination, you must complete the New York State COVID-19 Vaccine Form. This form can be completed online and you will receive a submission ID, or you can fill out the form at your vaccination site. Individuals being vaccinated must bring proof of eligibility to the vaccination site. This may include an employee ID card, a letter from an employer or affiliated organization, or a pay stub, depending on the specific priority status.
