A09909/S07705 Provides that uniformed court officers and peace officers employed in the unified court system shall be entitled to accidental disability retirement if they sustain injuries as the result of a physical assault by an assailant suffered while in service. A09910/S07704 Relates to age and service eligibility requirements for ordinary retirement for members of the unified court system; restores 55/30 for all members and reduces the retirement age from 63 to 62. Sponsored by Assemblymember Peter J Abbate. Cosponsored by Assemblymember William Colton.
