We received news that MCNA Dental Plan who worked with Healthplex to provide dental benefits under our plan will be sending out a letter to all impacted members of a data breach that occurred between February 26, 2023, and March 7, 2023. The letter states the type of personal information that may have been exposed. Please be aware that not all personal information pertains to COBANC members. We intentionally utilize alternate IDs instead of Social Security Numbers to safeguard your personal information. The letter also states that banking and credit card information, along with your Driver’s License Number, may have been obtained, but this does also not apply to COBANC members. Personal information that may have potentially been obtained is your name, address, date of birth and benefits history.
