Today, twenty-four years later, we still mourn, reflect, and remember the horror we experienced on an eerily similar, clear, crisp morning. As time has passed, people have forgotten, and the country is splintered. We must stand up and remind those who were not born yet that now wear our uniform the horror we all experienced that day. Our brothers who were murdered were fearless, ran into a war zone without delay, and responded to save lives. Heroes forever. Pray for them, and all who perished that day and since from the toxins down at the Trade Center complex.
